A phased, whole building redevelopment of The Climbing Academy's flagship Mothership centre on Barrow Road. A new glulam mezzanine reorganises how the building works, wrapping reception, cafe, shop and events space into the climbing hall, with changing rooms, offices and a lower ground gym following in later phases.
Parallel provided architectural design and construction information across the phases, working with Shape Studio as principal designer and principal contractor, down to joinery with climbing shoe storage built into the new staircase.
